Fitore Isufi/KOJA

Fitore Isufi/KOJA’s practice is conceptually based using drawing, painting, video, texts, installation and performance. In her works, she treats social and cultural subjects interwoven with her personal experiences that reflect the historic, political, and cultural context of her birthplace. Her work has been presented internationally in solo and group exhibitions, presentations, and workshops. Solo exhibitions include Bir var Bir yok (In and Out), Şekerbank Açıkekran, Istanbul, Turkey, 2016; Through, Ish-Rilindja, Prishtina, Kosovo, 2016; The making of interpretations, Miza Gallery, Tirana, Albania, 2015; 1 watermelon, 2 watermelons … 71 watermelons, National Gallery of Macedonia, Skopje, 2012. Recent group exhibitions: The whale that used to be a submarine, Ludwig Museum, Budapest, Hungary, 2016; This is not a palm tree, neurotitan gallery Schwarcenberg, Berlin, Germany, 2015. She teaches at Akademia Evolucion and UBT, in Prishtina, Kosovo.
