Ledia Kostandini transforms places or spaces (often temporarily), making people engage with them in new ways. She introduces social concerns or issues through a playful language, often excepting an immediate response from the public. She plays with what the reality provides turning space and public into essential interactive features of her artworks. Since 2008, she has have participated in solo and group exhibitions, residencies, and art fairs in Albania and abroad. Select exhibitions include: My Space, Tirana-Berlin, 2008; Feedback 1989-2009 Tirana-Berlin, 2009; Jeune Rewind-play forward, Akademie-Graz, Austria, 2011; 100 km Art, Tirana Art Lab, Albania, 2013 Centro Estetike, Miza Gallery, Tirana,2014; and Blockwork, Tulla Culture Center, Tirana, 2017. She works as an independent illustrator and 2017 saw the publication of her book Zing City.
