Her work draws on moments or stories from memory, mixing them with various contexts, periods, sequences of events and situations in a kind of postmodernist storytelling tradition. Educated as a printmaker, she experiments new expressive ways in printmaking, photography, digital technology, objects, and installations to create texture in an image or story. Her work has been shown in over 26 solo exhibitions, among them: Conditions, National Gallery of Macedonia, Skopje, 2016; Shadow, Gallery of Macedonian Cultural Center, New York, 2011; Filantropic Urges 1&2, Skopje City Museum, 2009; Cultural Center Babel, Utrecht, The Netherlands, 2006; A Cry, Museum of Contemporary Art, Skopje, Macedonia, 2002; Story Telling, Open Gallery, Bratislava, Slovakia, 2001 and Artists’House Foundation, Boswill, Switzerland in 2000. She participated in more than 200 group international and national exhibitions (curatorial selections, juried annual, biennial and triennial exhibitions). She is the recipient of thirteen awards, three of whom international.
