Radovan Čerevka’s practice is characterized by conceptual work with mass media, especially in the context of the international political, economic and humanitarian events mediated by the news channels. He is interested in the power of truth, globally spread and locally accepted, with work that integrates aspects of activism and his own civic engagement. Recent works combine models built according to spectacular images of media with relics from a specific place where the event occurred. The result is a mutation of authenticity and mediation as a kind of extraordinary event reconstruction conveyed by means o the variety of media involved. That at least symbolically - in the field of art, there was a concurrence at the same time in the same place. He works in sculpture, video, installation and drawing. He is a member of the group Kassaboys. He currently works as a lecturer in the Studio of 3D Free creativity at the Faculty of Arts, The Technical University of Košice.
